I Never Thought I’d Join A CrossFit Gym

Never in a million years did I think I would join a CrossFit gym, but I was desperate to find a physical activity that I actually enjoyed while also producing results. I tried running, sculpt classes, yoga, and following trendy Instagram workouts in a gym by myself—thinking I didn’t need anybody’s support to be a better version of myself. As it turns out, the community and classes I found at Train are exactly what I needed!
My journey began back in March 2025 (almost a whole year ago!). I had my “no sweat” intro consultation with Abby and we clicked immediately. I told her I wanted to feel confident in my body and look as hot as ever, and she told me she could help me get there. I showed up for 1:1 training and group classes the next day.
I am fully obsessed with everything about Train. I have never felt intimidated or made to feel less than because of my beginner skill levels. In fact, I feel so supported and loved for every stage I’m in and as I grow as an athlete.
And lately, I’ve had one of those moments that honestly made me emotional (in the best way). I realized I’m seeing changes in my body that I’ve never seen before—and it’s not just about how things look. I feel stronger. I feel different in my clothes. I feel proud when I catch my reflection. I feel like I’m finally learning how to fuel myself and train in a way that actually works for me.
I told Abby the other day, “Thank you so much for showing me the way. I’ve never felt like this or seen these changes in my body before.” And I mean it.
The Protein Reset has also been HUGE for me. Like… I truly wish everyone in the gym did it, because it’s made such a difference in how I approach food, recovery, and showing up to train with energy. It’s been a game changer.
Thank you to the entire Train community for being so welcoming, thank you to the coaches who are some of the best people on this whole planet, and thank you to myself for showing up and doing my damn best!
Train has changed my life and the way I view myself forever. Cheers to year one as a CrossFit athlete! Can’t wait for many, many more!
