Walking through the door of Crossfit Train is the single best thing I have done for my health and fitness. Brooke Bergeson and her incredible crew of coaches and growing member base create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment to develop yourself in ways you never thought possible. The biggest challenges for me were finding the money, time and dedication to the sport, but only two weeks in, I could see it was all worth it and my life changed.
Before Crossfit Train, I ran semi-regularly – maybe twice a week, maybe not at all for months. If I got on my bike and traveled across town, that was a good day for me. I found myself wanting a change - and not a small one - I just didn’t know what I wanted exactly or how to get there. Some research and books led me to Crossfit Train in September of 2103. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I will never forget when Robin, a member, told me “It’s great here, you will see results.” After the first class, I attended three one-hour fundamental sessions with the owner, Brooke Bergeson. Brooke is an experienced athlete and incredibly knowledgeable coach, she is charismatic, sarcastic and funny all while teaching you the basic form and function of the movements and lifts you will need to perform at Crossfit Train.
I always thought I had the potential to be better and stronger, I just lacked the spirit to get me there. Crossfit Train will get you there. Brooke programs workouts that are constantly varied and highly functional. You will get your ass whooped, but you will never get bored. Every day you will find that you are stronger than the day before.
Thanks to Brooke and Crossfit Train, I am an athlete. I know more about my body and my ability. I take training seriously; I record my workouts and lifts. I take care of my body, eat better and I have never felt so good in all of my life. I feel like it is just the beginning too, I see myself continuing to develop not only the skills but also the capacity to maintain this lifestyle not just for today but for a lifetime.
